schenectady amtrak
after the exit of general electric in the mid 70s, schenectady faced strenuous economic downturn. as the entrance stage to the city, the train station is an opportunity to inspire revitilization for schenectady. this design seeks to simultaneously respect the existing histroric architecural landscape while also being a stepping stone to a brighter future. this project included a series of drawing studies of exisiting city architecture as well as a plan and model for a new station.
